in The
Lowdown:
The 9th anniversary edition of one of the world's best regional domain conferences
- Nordic Domain Days - got underway Monday in Stockholm, Sweden. Domain

Also
inside: Everyone can find something to like on our latest all
extension Top 20 Domain Sales Chart.
A 3-word $350,000 .com set the pace, followed by a one-letter ccTLD sale
that just missed the six-figure mark and an angelic non .com gTLD sale at
$85,000. You can get all of the details here.

The
domain industry has lost one of its true
giants with the passing T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference
Co-Founder Howard Neu, a
pioneering domain attorney and one of
the key architects of the global
community our industry enjoys today. At
the same time, Howard's family lost a
devoted husband to wife Barbara (a
domain industry treasure in her own right),
a loving father to his daughters, a doting
grandfather with four grandchildren and an
over-the-moon great grandfather with two
great grandchildren.
Howard
was one of the most intelligent and multi-talented
people we've ever known. They say that cats
have nine lives but they had nothing
on Howard Neu who led professional
lives as an accountant, attorney, judge,
city councilman, mayor, TV host, actor,
singer, domain investor, conference producer
and community builder. That's 11 and
we've probably missed a few more.
Still, it's not the quantity that is so
impressive, it is the fact that he did
everything so well. Howard was a true
modern day Renaissance
Man.

The
Internet
Commerce Association (ICA)

Vegas for their 2024 Annual Meeting

crowd that grew 50% over last year. With
their latest conference, the ICA has firmly
established their event as
one of the most important ones on
the industry's global conference

the invaluable work they do to protect
domain owner's rights. There
is more to it than that though. If
you didn't attend the Annual Meetings you
are no doubt wondering what makes this
conference different from all of the
rest? We'll tell you what is in their secret
